The activity of the ECAD, in 2022-2023, aims at professional event’s organizers, promoting better visibility and more advantageous access, in particular thanks to the holding on, obtained this year, of the MEDIA booth at MIPTV, and the access to complete Excel sheet (with emails) of the market participants listings that we have just obtained, for example, from Reed Midem, for the next edition of MIPCOM.
We will also focus on ensuring that Creative Europe MEDIA supports us in particular by calling for a new support scheme for the profession of audiovisual program sellers, as well as for a better valuing the contribution that sellers take on, in particular in terms of designing marketing strategies or of obtaining letters of interest with figures for pre-sales, within the framework of applications submitted by producers to Creative Europe MEDIA supports (Co-development and TV and Online).
ECAD will also contribute to the exchange of business best practices which will help its members to strengthen themselves on the international market.
Our association will be increasingly called upon maintaining a constructive dialogue with TV channels and Platforms, from the point of view of a qualitative development of good reciprocal practices and to allow an exchange of information between its members on regulatory changes in the sector in their different countries, having an impact on international distributors.
